Positive response to ECOWAS-Turkey expo

14 February 2014, 12:24

Lagos -  The organizers of next month’s Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)-Turkish Product Expo said that about 50 Turkish companies and investors will attend the event.

The product exposition is scheduled to take place between March 3 and 5 at the Eko Hotels in Lagos.

A statement by the organizers said several West Africa countries had signified their interest to participating in the product exhibition, which ranks as the biggest Turkish trade show in Africa.

Items to be on display at the expo include health care equipments and products, home decoration and textiles, lightening equipments, machinery, cosmetics, electronic, home decoration, kitchen and glassware, steel, wooden and security doors among other products.

The statement said the expo would afford West African businesses and investors the opportunity to interact and get better sourcing alternatives.

The event, according to the statement, would also provide networking opportunities for participants.

Registration to participate at the event is in progress.
