Abuja - The Yobe State Police Command has provided more detail into the Tuesday suicide bomb attack at a popular restaurant at Potiskum in Yobe State.
According to the State Police Public Relations officer, Toyin Gbadegesin, three persons dead in the attack occurred around 2:20 pm local time.
Gbadegesin said the bomber blew self and two others at the Alamin Restaurant along Damaturu Road in Potiskum town. Twelve other people who sustained injuries from the blast are currently receiving treatment at the Potiskum General Hospital.

Potiskum is the commercial nerve centre of the troubled Yobe State located in the north east geopolitical zone of the country.
It has experienced several cases of suicide bomb attack since the commencement of the Boko Haram insurgency and is, alongside Adamawa and Borno States, under emergency rule.
