Abuja - The Federal Airports Authority has commenced investigations into the minor smoke incident at the arrival wing of the International terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Monday.
Yakubu Dati, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, confirmed the probe following the setback at Section E.
Dati said the smoke was quickly traced to some offices at the E wing on the ground floor of the terminal by a combined team of FAAN’s electrical engineers and fire officers.
“Investigations have commenced to ascertain the cause of the fire,” he said.

Dati added that the Authority assured the traveling public and other airport users that there was no immediate danger to anyone as a result of the incident.
“Neither did it affect flight operations at the terminal.”
