Protesters Clash in Abuja over Aviation Minister

Abuja - Two groups of protesters, with opposing views on the behaviour of under-fire Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah , got into fracas over the space the in a car park that they were protesting in,Daily Times reports.

The two groups, one being led by former House of Representatives member, Dino Melaye , who were calling for Oduah to step down from her post. The other group were there to show their support for the aviation minister when pushing and shoving broke out between the two groups over who could occupy the space to demonstrate.  Melaye accused the other group of being sponsored to disrupt his protest.

Nigerians have taken to social media to vent their frustration at Oduah's actions, @maydoosah tweeted "#Oduah should be suspended pending the outcome of the probe". While others like @kemistus were a little cynical as to how the government will deal with the situation,"Waiting to see how this bullet proof car scandal pans out. I bet NOTHING will happen to odious #Oduah."
