Ogun - The Reedemers University student who chopped his father into pieces in Ogun State has been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in the state, Punch reports.
The 21-year-old student was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command on July 3, 2014 after chopping his father into pieces in their residence on Canaanland Street, Redemption Camp, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

The prosecution counsel, Sergeant Evidence Onyekachi, told the court that the action of the student was punishable under Section 319 (1) of the Criminal Law of Ogun State of Nigeria, 2006, but the magistrate adjourned the case till October 10, 2014.
