Rivers - The Chief Judge of the Rivers State, Justice Peter Agumagu, has taken the National Judicial Council (NJC) to a Federal High Court in Abuja, challenging his suspension by the body, Vanguard reports.
He is challenging the threat by the judicial council to sack him as a judicial officer for accepting appointment as the substantive Chief Judge of Rivers State.
The suspended judge was given four days by the NJC to adduce reasons he should not be sacked.
