Lagos - Two oil pipeline vandals have been
jailed for five years following their appearance at the Federal High Court
in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Ugochuku Obi and Markel Daniel were not given the option of
a fine when they appeared to answer to a two-count charge bordering on
conspiracy and felony.

They were however convicted on count one for tampering with
Officers of the Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
arrested the duo during a joint operation with the Nigerian Army in Port
Harcourt in 2010.
