Rivers - Rivers State Government said that all council staff had been paid contrary to allegation that it was owing local government staff two months salaries, Vanguard reports.
Chairman of People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Felix Obuah, alleged in a statement by his media aide, Jerry Needam, that council staff had not been paid for two months.

He said the state governor Rotimi Amaechi, has demonstrated that he does not respect the law and the people, and cannot also be trusted with positions of trust.
