Port Harcourt - Rivers state government on Monday blamed the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI), founded by Minister of Education Nyesom Wike for the bomb explosions in some parts of the state, according to The Nation.
The commissioner for Information and Technology Ibim Seminitari made the allegation while addressing reporters in Port Harcourt, on the Ahoada High Court bomb explosions that occurred on Sunday night and the discovery of bombs at the Etche High Courts on Monday.
The bomb explosion at the Ahoada High Court destroyed the building housing the secretariat of the state branch of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA).
Ahoada High Court is being presided over by Justice Charles Wali, who last December issued an order of injunction to the self-acclaimed Speaker of the House of Assembly, Evans Bipi, to stop parading himself as speaker.
