Lagos - The Rivers State Government has warned it would terminate the contracts of service providers that did not meet set standards.
The warning comes after the Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Felix Obuah, ordered the termination of the contract of SIDAFECO Ventured Limited with effect from August 1 for non-performance.
“He appealed to service providers to take their job of cleaning Port Harcourt, the State Capital and its environs with utmost commitment and swiftness, warning that contracts of indolent contractors will be terminated, without reference to them,” said Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Obuah.
