Rivers varsities to benefit from telco's services

29 April 2015, 10:11Augustine Osayande

Abuja - Learners and communities in Rivers State are set to benefit after a mobile network firm expanded its services to the region.

Etisalat has has launched its mini experience centre popularly referred to as ‘Cliqhub’ in the University of Port-Harcourt and Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

According to Head, Youth Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, Elvis Daniel, Cliqhub is designed to be a point of contact between Etisalat and the youth community.

“Cliqhub clearly demonstrates Etisalat’s passion for its customers and its eagerness to serve their needs," he said.

The location of these centres in campuses was very deliberate because we want them to enjoy Etisalat’s services within the comfort of their school environment, he added.

Located in strategic areas in the university campuses, Cliqhub offers facilities that provide students and other members of the campus community access to experience Etisalat’s products and services.

These include phone offers, free Wi-Fi access and special weekly promotions, without leaving the campus grounds.

Cliqhub was launched in the University of Lagos in November 2014 and at the Ahmadu Bello University in Kaduna last month.
