Abuja - The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the cooperation with the Airforce led to the reduction of road crashes and fatalities this past festive season.
Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, thus expressed appreciation to the the force's aerial support during the period.
Oyeyemi, in a letter of appreciation addressed to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, said the partnership and assistance rendered by the Nigerian Air Force through the deployment of its helicopters curbed road delays, crashes and death.

The statistics were comparable to the same period in 2013.
