Lagos - A robbery attack was prevented by the Lagos Police Command at a church by Grammar School Bus stop, Igando-Ikotun Road, Lagos during an evening service, Punch reports.
Some hoodlums were said to have arrived on a motorcycle at the end of the service as members of the church were coming out at about 10pm on Sunday.
A distress call was pulled through to the police command and the policemen arrived at the scene just before the robbers started carrying out their operations.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, while confirming the robbery attempt on the church, said the case was under investigation at the Ikotun Division.
