Lagos - The Save Nigeria Group on Monday instituted a legal action at the Federal High Court in Lagos against the Federal Government on the withdrawal of N2.5tn for subsidy payments from the Consolidated Revenue Fund instead of the N245bn approved in the 2011 Appropriation Act. The Punch reports
SNG Convener, Pastor Tunde Bakare, said this at a press conference in Lagos on Monday.
Bakare lamented that President Goodluck Jonathan had not directly addressed the matter ‘‘except through remarks on his behalf by presidential aides.’’
