Port Harcourt - Barely two months after the exit of her husband from office, former First Lady and wife of immediate past president, Dame Patience Jonathan was on Thursday humiliated by some security agents at the Port Harcourt International Airport, reports NewsDay.
The security agents prevented her from entering the VIP Lounge of the airport, a privilege she had enjoyed for many years.
Patience Jonathan was on her way to the burial of her late Chief Security Officer (CSO), Tamuno Jacob Igbomie, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who was allegedly shot dead by unknown assailants.

The former First Lady arrived the airport and made for the VIP lounge considering her status as a wife of a former President.
However, she was practically locked out and prevented from accessing the lounge.
The former First lady, who said she received the same treatment twice at the airport in the last seven days, vowed to formally protest the conduct of the security personnel to the relevant authorities.
