Senate approves Madugu FCSC appointment

Abuja - The Senate has approved the appointment of Dr Jonah Madugu as a member of Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

The approval follows the consideration of the report of Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service.

Presenting the report, Aloysius Etok, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service, observed Madugu was a person of high integrity,  academic competence and had the experience required for the appointment as a member of FCSC.

The committee recommended the senate confirm Madugu as member representing Benue, Nassarawa and Plateau States.

The Senate dissolved into a committee of whole to consider the report.

After the consideration, senate unanimously approved the appointment when Senate President, David Mark, put it into voting.

Mark congratulated Madugu and urged him to do his best in his new position.
