Abuja - David Mark, the President of the Senate, has stated the Senate will revisit the amendment which defines the full age of a woman, Punch reports.
It was recommended by the Senate Committee on Constitution Review, that Section 29(4)(b) of the 1999 Constitution be deleted and it was suggested that a married woman of any age should be considered an adult.
The Senate had originally voted to delete the clause but votes needed to be retaken after some Senators protested.
Mark assured the public that the clause will be revisited by Senate but encouraged the public to educate themselves more thoroughly on the matter.
