Adamawa - Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have killed several people and abducted six women at Sabongari town in Madagali Local Government of Adamawa State, Vanguard reports.
A resident said the insurgents arrived the village at about 10 pm Sunday night and started shooting sporadically, killing many people and injuring others before abducting the women.

The Chairman of Madagali Local Government Area, Maina Ularamu who confirmed the incident, called on government to provide more security in the area.
Ularamu expressed regret that several villages and communities were presently without military presence and urged the Army to deploy troops to the areas.
