Lagos - Shell has concluded transactions to sell four out of the many oil fields its operate in Nigeria.
The oil fields were sold to local oil firms, reports Daily Trust.
The sales are the latest move by the company to reduce its onshore oil presence in Nigeria, in the face of theft and sabotage .

Although, no details were available on the names of the firms that bought the fields, a deal is expected in the next few weeks after which all potential buyers will require government approval.
