Kaduna – A soldier who shot and killed a man in Kaduna has been arrested by the army and will face court-martial, AllAfrica reports.
The soldier, who was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident, got into a fight with a patrol team of a local vigilante group after 12am on Tuesday morning.
According to witnesses, he left angry but returned to the vigilante team’s office in his army uniform with a gun and fired several shots before killing the victim. It has been confirmed that the soldier was arrested and will be transferred to the police.
