Jos - A blind student has been shot after soldiers opened
fire at protesting students at the University of Jos at the Bauchi road campus,
Premium Times reported.
The affected student was entering the school premises when the incident took place. He was shot by a soldier who was running after protesting students.

The students have been protesting since Monday due to an increment of the university's development level of N10,000 and held it hostage by closing
off Bauchi road.
The university is looking into the matter and is following an investigation.
