Gbonhgan - A vehicle that was stolen in Oyo State was recovered stowed away in a church in Osun State, Osun Defender reports.
According to the Oyo State police, the car was hidden by Yinka Oyeniran, a suspected robber, part of a car-snatching syndicate.
The car was snatched with the victim’s phone, jewellery and money but the car had a tracking device and the police tracked it to a church in Gbongan where the perpetrator had told the pastor that he had brought the car there to be blessed.
The police have since arrested Oyeniran who was ambushed when he returned for his loot.
