Sagamu - Activities at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State, were grounded as the health workers began an indefinite strike, Nation reports.
According to the workers under the aegis of Joint Health Sector Unions, OOUTH, Sagamu, the industrial action was due to neglect by the state government, unpaid allowances and unfavourable working environment.
Commissioner for health in the state, Dr. Olaokun Soyinka, who condemned the industrial action, said the government was working on the issues raised by the workers.
