Lagos – The students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have banded behind some of the members of the university’s faction of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) who want to return to work, Tribune reports.
Students have spoken about the fact that they have lost a semester of teaching and are not going to graduate when they intending and are eager to get back into the classroom.
The faction at UNILAG gave their branch of the ASUU an ultimatum that they have until this week to resume.
Although the leader of the UNILAG ASUU, Dr Karo Ogbinaka, has said the group continues to take part in the nationwide strike until it is called off.
