Maiduguri – Threats facing the tertiary institution has the students at Maiduguri University fearing for the lives and fleeing from the campus, AllAfrica reports.
The fears came to a climax on Friday when three missiles which were launched by Boko Haram were found on campus. According to students, there were rumours circulating that Boko Haram intended to attack the school that weekend.
The university is currently guarded by soldiers, and school authorities have said that they have no intention to close the university and encourage students to carry on attending lectures. Students were seen leaving the campus with baggage.
