Lagos - Police in Lagos arrested ten people in connection with the kidnapping of two senior employees of ZTE Nigeria Ltd. The kidnappers also collected a N8.5 million ransom, ChannelsTV reports.
Umar Manko, Police Commissioner in Lagos, said that they initially arrested two suspects with regards to the kidnapping. After the two suspects confessed to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, eight others were arrested.
One of the suspects claimed to be a ZTE employee who gave information to the group. Another suspect, who was also a ZTE employee, revealed that they decided to kidnap the victims because the company had allegedly been treating Nigerian employees poorly.
