Abuja - The Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, has described the death of former Oyo State governor, Alhaji Lam Adesina, as a monumental loss to the country.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Imam Imam, in Abuja on Sunday,
Tambuwal said the deceased lived an exemplary life and urged all Nigerians to emulate Adesina's positive attitude to nation building.
According to him, Adesina's death came at a time the country needed his invaluable contributions for the unity and development of Nigeria.
He condoled with the family and the people of Oyo State over the loss, Tambuwal and prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest.
Adesina died at the age of 73, at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Lagos.
