Abuja - The police escorts of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal has been re-instated by the Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, Punch reports.
The police officers were said to have arrived Tambuwal’s residence to resume duties, six months after they were withdrawn on October 28, 2014 on the order of the Inspector-General of Police.

This comes few days after his security details were reinstated by the State Security Service for defecting to opposition party, All Progressive Congress, (APC) from the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
