Ibadan - A tanker filled with petrol went up in flames around Molete Market, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital leaving no fewer than 11 people dead and several others injured on Saturday night, Punch reports.
It was learnt that 13 vehicles, seven commercial motorcycles, three commercial tricycles and 45 shops were affected in the incident which consumed an employee of the Nigerian Tribune, Samson Oyewole, and an eight year-old girl.

The state governor, Abiola Ajimobi was said to have visited the scene in the wee hours where he commiserated with the victims of the incident.
This incident is said to be the second major fire incident in the city within two months after Alesinloye Market was gutted on August 16, 2014.
