Jalingo - The Taraba acting Governor, Garba Umar, has sacked the state Head of Service, Augustine Bazing.
Umar also sacked the Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, Hilkia Mafindi.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Garvey Yawe on Tuesday in Jalingo.
The statement named Asabe Maiangwa as new acting Head of Service while Danladi Balutu has been appointed as the new SUBEB chairman.
It said that the governor also approved the transfer of some permanent secretaries.
Under the new arrangement, Habila Jaman replaces Lydia Baba as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Finance while Baba meves in the same capacity to the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Abdulmumini Ndoba is moved to Ministry of Agriculture to take over from Ifraimu Kifasi, who now takes charge of Bureau for Land and Survey.
According to the statement, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim now moves to the Ministry of Works as permanent secretary while Aliyu Noma takes charge of Home Affairs.
The statement directed that the processes of handing and taking over should be completed on or before Friday.
