Kano - The Kano State Taskforce on private schools said on Wednesday it had closed six schools for contravening laid down rules and regulations.
The government established the committee to regulate activities of private schools in the state.
The Chairman of the taskforce, Alhaji Abubakar Umar, announced this while addressing newsmen in Kano.
The chairman who spoke through a member of the taskforce, Alhaji Abdullahi Sarki, urged principals of the affected schools to report at the office of the taskforce immediately.
