Abuja - A 50-year-old secondary school teacher, Mosumade Olusola, appeared in an Osogbo Magistrates' Court for allegedly damaging a motorcycle belonging to one Akinde Solomon.
The prosecutor, Insp. Abiodun Fagboyinbo, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 17 at Capital Hotel in Osogbo.
Fagboyinbo said the accused pushed the complainant’s motorcycle from where it was packed into a gutter, damaging it in the process.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and her counsel applied for her bail.
The Magistrate, Habibat Basiru, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with a surety in like sum.
Basiru added that the surety must be resident within the court's jurisdiction, swear to affidavit of means and produce two passport photographs.
The case was adjourned to March 18 for definite hearing.
