Tenants strip three female police officers naked

20 November 2014, 16:02

Edo - Three female police officers from Oregbeni Police Station, Ikpoba Hill, Benin, were physically assaulted and stripped naked by tenants in Edo State, Vanguard reports.

The officers had gone to the area to arrest a tenant on the invitation of a landlady at Oregbeni quarter when angry residents swooped down on them, physically assaulted and stripped them naked.

The landlady, Okebuse, confirmed that she invited the police because she had given the tenants quit notice and they refused to leave her house.
