Lagos - The British High Commission has invited companies to apply for a tender to construct a returnees’ reception centre at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.
The invitation is open to building engineers, construction companies and building contractors that have extensive experience in the construction industry.
Kelechi Emukah, Project Officer of Migration Policy at the Commission, said the project was to provide a building facility at the Cargo terminal wherein Nigerian returnees from the UK will be processed in a dignified manner, aiding their successful reintegration into the Nigerian society.

The Nigerian Immigration Service and Nigerian returnees will be the primary beneficiaries, the official said.
The application process closes on June 18.
