New York - Shola Olatoye has been appointed as the new chair of the New York Housing Authority by the Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, according to Premium Times.
De Blasio says the housing authority will build 200 000 units of affordable housing over ten years to meet the health and safety needs in the city.
Olatoye is the daughter of a Nigerian immigrant.
