Thousands receive free medical services in Bayelsa

Abuja - The Development Africa, a non-governmental group, has sponsored a team of health professionals to provide free medical services in Sagbama community of Bayelsa State.

According to the group, the team offered free medical treatment to more than 4 000 people in the community.

The group added that the team include over 80 doctors, medical professionals, volunteers and logistical staff.

“The Development Africa medical team is in the community of Sagbama, Bayelsa state with a team of over 80 doctors, medical professionals, volunteers and logistical staff. The Community Health Intervention had departments for dental, eye and optometric, surgery and general medical consultation” the group’s Public Relation Department said.

CAJ News established that the team provided free medical services with free medication, health awareness and education to crowds of some 4 012 people.
