Kogi - Three police officers and a villager were killed when gunmen numbering about 20 attacked a police station in Kogi state, Vanguard reports.
The gunmen were said to have used dynamite to blow open the station, and fired several gunshots in the air to frighten passersby and villagers.
The villager that was killed was said to have been hit by a stray bullet while on a visit to a friend that lives near the police station.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Romanus Nwaneri, confirmed the attack.
