Abuja - Mayhem erupted at the Ladipo Market in the Mushin area of Lagos State on Wednesday when thugs vandalised vehicles and injured traders.
Gangs on a rampage allegedly threw pebbles and bottles into the market as traded fled the scene towards safety.
According to a PUNCH report, the chaos started as a result of ticketing fees being collected from traders by people working for the Ladipo Auto Central Executive Committee (LASEC).

Two leaders within LASEC are said to have a running battle over who controls ticketing within the market.
the two leaders are said to have gotten into an altercation over the ticketing, resulting in the injury of at least three people and the vandalism of approximately twelve vehicles.
Lagos Police have yet to comment on the incident.
