Lagos- A Lagos-based lawyer and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo, has petitioned the acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba over an alleged threat to his life by Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, Punch reports.
In the letter dated Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Keyamo said that he received a telephone call at exactly 10:13pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from one Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo) threatening to kill him because he (Keyamo) decided to take up the matter involving his blood brother, George Ekpemupolo, “who was used to illegally substitute another candidate, Weyinmi Omadeli (48 hours to the election) in the Warri South-West LG elections that were concluded last Saturday in Delta State.

Keyamo said that he has reported the matter to the Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, who promised to speak with the ex-militant over the matter.
