Lagos - A tricycle drive was shot dead after an argument with an Assistant Superintendent of Police, identified simply as Mohammed, Punch reports.
It was learnt that the police officer, who is attached to the Disaster Management Unit of the Department of Operations, Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikejahad boarded a commercial motorcycle which was hit by the tricycle operator on Kareem Laka Street in the Egbeda area.

This incident degenerated into a heated argument after which the officer was said to have brought out his pistol and shot the tricycle driver in the chest.
Mohammed reportedly moved out of his apartment on Unity Close, Egbeda, shortly after the incident and he is still at large according the Chairman, Tricycle Drivers’ Association in Shasha Akowonjo, Isiaka Yekini.
