Rivers - Two chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ibima Olunta and Goodfellow Bobmanuel, were killed by unknown gunmen, Leadership reports.
The politicians were shot dead in front of their house in Abonnema, headquarters of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Chairman of PDP in the state, Felix Obuah, alleged that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akuku-Toru local government area of the state were behind the assassination.

He condoled with the families of the deceased and members of the PDP in Abonnema, and urged them to remain calm as the party will unmask the killers.
