07 September 2015, 18:10

Dutse - The Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has recovered two cartons, containing suspected hard drugs, the state Commandant, said on Monday in Dutse.

The Commandant, Muhammad Gidado, said that the items were recovered on September 5, in Malammadori Local Government Area.

Gidado said the items were recovered after three men, suspected to be hard drug dealers abandoned them and escaped.

"We received information about the presence of three men suspected to be illicit drug dealers in Malammadori town; but they took to their heels as soon as they noticed the arrival of our men.
