Ibadan - Two petrol tankers collided at the Olusanya area of Ibadan metropolis on Thursday leading to a gridlock which lasted for hours on the ever-busy Ring Road.
The accident involved a tanker belonging to Forte Oil and a Presto Oil tanker.
One of tankers was said to be trying to negotiate the roundabout on the highway when it rammed into the other coming from Challenge area of the metropolis.
Officers of the State Fire Service were on standby to prevent fire outbreak .
Confirming the accident, Sanya Adeoye, the Oluyole Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, said that no life was lost.
