US computer maker expands Nigeria catalogue

Abuja - One of the world's foremost computer manufacturers has launched a lineup of new products it will introduce in Nigeria later this month.

Dell has introduced its new line-up of Dell Precision mobile.  workstations and updates to the fixed line of Dell Precision tower solutions.

The new mobile workstations combine the beauty of thinner, lighter industrial designs and brilliant displays with the performance of the latest graphics technology with new processors and faster memory and storage.

Executive Director for Dell Precision, Rahul Tikoo, said the huge leap in performance with innovative new screen and configuration options is due to request from customers.

“We listened to our customers in categories such as media and entertainment, engineering, manufacturing, finance and beyond, to  deliver a high-performing system for their workload needs," Tikoo said.

This portfolio is said to combine new technology from Dell hardware partners.

He added that the new Dell Precision workstations would also offer the best experience for professional users by adding certifications for various professional applications.

The company has also announced its new Dell UltraSharp 25 PremierColor monitor and Dell UltraSharp 27 PremierColor monitor with ultra-thin bezels that enable customers enjoy a seamless viewing. experience or utilise a stunning dual monitor setup.

Based in the United States, Dell is said to be the number one monitor brand worldwide.

Products launched in Nigeria will be available from Thursday next week.
