Abuja - Women have been advised to stop interfering in the deployment of troops to troubled areas in the northern parts of the country to battle insurgents, PM News reports.
The warning against the backdrop of a protest by a group of women at Giwa Barracks, Maiduguri on Monday, over the deployment of their family members who are soldiers to troubled areas without adequate protection.

The military said it remains sensitive to the needs of the family members, but the deployment of soldiers and officers to troubled areas to combat insurgents is not influenced in any way as soldiers have been trained to obey lawful orders and command in defence of the country.
