Abuja - Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Geidam, has pledged his administrations support to victims of the recent terror attack in Postikum.
The suicide bomb blast killed seven people and injured about 50 others.
The injured were taken to the General Hospital Potiskum from where 11 were referred to the Federal Medical Centres Nguru and Birnin Kudu.
The governor promised to foot the medical bills of all the injured victims.

“We will provide every support that the injured need to ensure they recover fully. We will pay all the bills, even if it means sending those who have been referred to other hospitals outside the country” he said.
Geidam prayed that God should repose the souls of those who died in the attack and grant quick recovery to the injured.
He expressed outrage at the attacks criminals and insurgents perpetrated in the state and other parts of the country and called on people across the state to pray for restoration of peace and security.
The governor also directed the acting Principal Medical Officer (PMO) at the Potiskum General Hospital, Dr Musa Sarki, to ensure the establishment of an Emergency Response Centre at the hospital.
