Lagos - Fourteen days after she was kidnapped by unknown persons, 20-year-old Chioma Rita Clement has been released.
Chioma had left her family home on Gboyega Kilo Street in Ojodu Berger area of Lagos on the early hours of Thursday, March 10 for the UTME at WAEC International Office, Plot ‘B,’ Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Lagos, before she was kidnapped.
The teenager, who sat for her Senior Secondary Certificate Examination last year, was said to have left home around 5.30am for Agidingbi.
At about 5pm, Clement sent a text message to her mother’s mobile phone, raising the alarm that she had been abducted and she did not know the location where she was taken to.

The matter was said to have been reported at the Ojodu Police Division and was transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.
In the text message, the teenager wrote that the abductors had seized her phone since morning and she only managed to write a text through someone’s assistance.
Family members and concerned Nigerians had posted her pictures as well as pleas for her release in social media.
Her sister, Maryann, confirmed her return on Thursday. She said Chioma returned home on Wednesday around 11p.m
