Abuja - Police have warned violators of the ministerial ban
on the operation of commercial motorcycles and tricycles in Abuja.
Some operators of the cycles, known as okada or keke napep,
have continued business despite the ban for security reasons.
“All Divisional Police Officers in the Command have been
directed to arrest all violators of the directive and prosecute them
accordingly,” said Anjuguri Manzah, Abuja Police Public Relations Officer.
