Abuja - The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has sent out a directive ordering all officers of senior ranking to declare their assets from now on.
According to a Naij report, Idris made the statement on Thursday while paying a visit to Interior Minister Abdulrahman Dambazau.

Claiming that the order was in line with Section 13 cap 15 of the Code of Conduct, Idris declared that under his command the integrity of the Nigeria Police force while be held in high regard at all times, Vanguard reports.
While stating that the presence of the police will be felt in villages and streets across the country, the IG was urged by Minister Dambazau to focus on corruption, the economy and security during his tenure.
