Abuja - Nigeria's First Lady, Aisha Buhari, is allegedly suing Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose over claims that she was one of those indicted for involvement in the Halliburton scandal.
According to a Punch report, Buhari has denied her alleged role on the scandal on many an occasion, with Ibrahim Lamorde, former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) even corroborating the claims.

Fayose, however, has continued to slander the First Lady, insisting that she was involved in the loss of huge sums of money while claiming that the Federal Government's anti-corruption war is selective in nature.
Buhari has since dragged Fayose to court, issuing a lawsuit for maligning her name continuously, Premium Times reports.
Fayose's lawyer has yet to comment on whether or not his client has been served with the summons or not.
